Termenul de erotism în artă a apărut destul de târziu, în 1841, în limba franceză, însă explorarea și exprimarea acestui spațiu extrem de intim, a fascinat natura umană dintotdeauna. În culturile vechi, India, China, Japonia, sexualitatea este ca o rugăciune, ea făcând parte din filozofiile și religiile zonei. Acest univers poetic al aventurii iubirii a fascinat și a incitat în fel și chip TOATE culturile planetei. Unele mai explicit exprimate, alteleînvăluite în voaluri fine, în mister sau timidități, amorul/iubirea/eroticul, este, au fost și vor fi explorate atât timp cât ființa umană va face umbră pământului.
Odată cu inventarea fotografiei, artistul a avut bucuria de a putea explora erotismul printr-un mijloc nou, printr-o formulă ce va înflăcăra imaginația acestuia, transformându-l într-un "sclav privilegiat" al sexualității. Fotografia erotică apare intr-un moment în care lumea/societatea, eliberată in mare masură de chingile dogmelor religioase, era pregătită deja pentru acest nou mediu vizual și pentru o nouă abordare, chiar dacă au existat și momente de convulsii social-morale. Fenomenul nu a putut fi oprit. Fotografia erotică respira, se născuse!
Ceea ce era nou și surprinzător atât pentru artistul fotograf cât și pentru spectatori era faptul că în fotografie, corpul uman reprezintă reflecția realității și nu mai poate fi retușat sau ascuns, aici, fiecare imagine îngheață un moment de adevăr iar uneori e mai bine ca adevărul să nu fie știut...
Acesta a fost momentul în care fotograful s-a descătușat de rigorile societății și a vechilor arte, îmbrățișând fotografia erotică într-o expresie vizuală nouă, neexplorată. De atunci și până în prezent nenumărați fotografi au căzut "victime" al acestui teritoriu veșnic explorabil, lăsând în urma lor impresii și expresii ce dezvăie și uimesc continuu.
După un parcurs fotografic plin de încercări și experiențe, după ce și-a făcut intrarea în spațiul fotografic artistic cu expoziția 1+1, iată-l acum pe Sooska, provocat și provocând un nou subiect cu tematică erotică.
Expoziția Rainbow Eyes vine să ne confirme faptul că expresia eroticului în fotografie nu are limite. Experiment/provocare/incitare, într-un limbaj conceptual personal, în care gestul de autor este extrem de prezent, în care limitele intimității sunt puse la zid, aceasta este în câteva cuvinte, expoziția pe care o propune Sooska, de aceasta dată.
Am certitudinea că această expoziție va fi o reală provocare pentru fiecare dintre noi, o punere la încercare a propriilor limite.

Experiența unui model…
“Știm cu toții ca femeia reprezintă sexul frumos, când spui femeie te gandești la atribute precum delicatețe, senzualitate, gingășie, mister. Da, am spus mister; noi femeile mult mai repede ne deschidem picioarele decât sufletul. E de parcurs o cale mai lungă pentru a descoperi sufletul unei femei; în expoziția Rainbow Eyes, Pinto Horse asta a încercat să facă, să combine ochiul, în care este reprezentat sufletul, cu partea cea mai intimă a unei femei – vaginul - văzut ca un simbol pentru naștere sau renaștere, noutate, început. Să privim așadar vaginul ca pe un simbol, exact așa cum se înțelege din fotografiile din expoziție, fotografii în care se exprimă delicat erotismul și în care nu este prezentă sexualitatea, vulgaritatea.
Mai mult decât atât, viziunea artistului merge chiar și mai departe, el dorindu-și să surprindă femeia exact asa cum este ea, unică. Din acest motiv, pentru expoziția Rainbow Eyes, au participat 11 modele. Pinto Horse a încercat și pot spune că a și reușit să arate unicitatea fiecărei femei, nu prin ochii sau trăsăturile lor faciale, nu prin formele trupului, ci printr-o parte a corpului la care accesul este mai dificil. Aș putea merge chiar mai departe, să spun că ochiul folosit pentru fiecare model reflectă chiar o parte din personalitatea acestora, iar asta pentru că ochii, care au fost de dimensiuni și culori diferite, au fost aleși de fiecare model în parte. Ochiul ales, spune Pinto Horse , “o reprezintă pe ea ca femeie, nu doar vaginul”.
Mi-a plăcut mult ideea când am auzit-o, m-a încântat chiar! Nu-mi venea să cred că cineva chiar s-a gândit la așa ceva și nu numai că s-a gândit, dar a și avut suficientă cutezanță încât să pună în aplicare.
Poate că vă întrebați cum de am acceptat să particip ca și model. Uneori mă mai gandesc și acum la asta J. Știu că am privit totul ca pe o provocare, un pas în afara zonei de confort. A fost un dram de nebunie (numiți-o cum vreți), pentru care mi s-a oferit o ocazie unică și nu aveam de gând să o las să-mi scape printre degete. Refuzam gândul de a nu experimenta asta. Eram mult prea curioasă și aveam o mulțime de întrebări ce-și așteptau răspunsul (Pot eu să îndrăznesc atât de mult? Pot să-mi împing chiar atât de mult limitele? Sunt în stare să îmi permit doza aceasta de nebunie?)”

Az erotika fogalma a művészetekbe igencsak későn, 1841-ben tört be, azonban mindig is lenyűgözte az emberi természetet ezen végtelenül intim tér kifejezése és felfedezése. Az olyan időtálló kultúrákban, mint az indiai, a kínai vagy a japán, a szexualitás, akárcsak az ima, a régió filozófiájának és vallásának szerves része. A szeretet kalandjának e költői univerzuma számos tekintetben izgatta a világ össze művészeti ágát. Néhány esetben kifejező módon, míg másokban finom fátyol alá rejtve, titokkal és szeméremmel takarva vetette fel fejét a szerelem, a szeretet, az erotika, melyek ősidőktől fogva és mindörökké felfedeztetnek, míg ember talpa jár a földön.
A fotográfia feltalálásával a művésznek lehetősége nyílt az erotikát egy új szemszögből, egy új eszköz révén felfedezni, szárnyakat adva a képzeletnek. A művész így a szexualitás kitüntetett rabszolgájává válhatott. Az erotikus fényképészet egy olyan időpontban jelent meg, mikor az emberiség, megszabadulva a szigorú vallási dogmák láncaitól, készen állt erre az új vizuális eszköz és megközelítés fogadására. Bár voltak társadalmi és erkölcsi fenntartások iránta, a jelenség megállíthatatlan volt. Az erotikus fényképészet lélegzett, élt!
Mind a fényképész, mind a szemlélők számára új és letaglózó volt az emberi test realitása, hiszen ez a valóság tükre, melyet sem elrejteni, sem megváltoztatni nem lehet. Minden képbe az igazság egy pillanatát fagyasztják; az igazságot pedig néha jobb nem tudni.
Ez volt a pillanat, mikor a fényképész kilépett a társadalom és a régi művészetek szigorából, az erotikus fényképészet új, felfedezetlen képi kifejezése felé fordulva. Azóta napjainkig számtalan fotográfus esett áldozatul ennek a mindig újat mutató területnek, maguk után hagyva örökkön feltáró és lenyűgöző benyomásaikat és kifejezéseiket.
Egy próbatételekkel és tapasztalatokkal teli út végén, miután belépett a művészi fényképészet területére az 1+1 című kiállításával, Soóska egy újabb erotikus témán felbuzdulva alkotta meg az új kiállítás anyagát, Szivárvány Szemek címmel.
A Rainbow Eyes kiállítás is igazolja, hogy az erotika kifejezése a fényképészetben határtalan. Kísérlet, kihívás és ösztönzés ötvözete egy személyes fogalmi nyelvezetben, melyben a szerző rendkívüli módon van jelen, mely az intimitás határait sarokba szorítja – néhány szóban ezt ajánlja fel nekünk Soóska.

Egy modell tapasztalata:
„A nő a szebbik nem. A nőre gondolván az embernek a gyöngédség, az érzékiség, a huncutság, a titokzatosság jut eszébe. Valóban titokzatos, hiszen mi nők sokkal hamarabb széttesszük lábainkat, minthogy lelkünket feltárnánk. Hosszú az út egy nő lelkének megismeréséig. A Rainbow Eyes kiállítás során Pinto Horse mégis megpróbálkozott ezzel, egyesítette a lelket, melyet a szemek lelképeznek a nő legintimebb testrészével, a vaginával, a születés és újjászületés, az újdonság, a kezdet szimbólumával.Tekintsük hát a vaginát szimbólumnak, ahogyan azt a kiállítás képei is sugallják. Képek, melyekben az erotika gyöngédsége kerül kifejezésre, nem pedig a szexualitás és a vulgaritás.
Sőt mi több, a művész elképzelése még ennél is tovább halad. Célja, hogy a nőt úgy ábrázolja, amilyen: egyedinek. Ebből az okból kifolyólag 11 modell volt része a Rainbow Eyes projektnek. Pinto Horse megpróbálta – s bizton állíthatom, sikerült is neki – megmutatni minden egyes nő egyediségét. Nem az arcvonásaik vagy szemeik által, nem testük vonalait felhasználva, hanem egy olyan testrészen keresztül, mely nehezen hozzáférhető. A fotózáskor használt szemek igenis tükrözték a modellek személyiségének egy részét, hiszen a különböző színű és méretű szemeket maguk a modellek választották ki. A választott szem, Pinto Horse szerint, a nőt jellemzik, nem a vaginát.
Az ötlet már első hallásra is nagyon tetszett, elragadtatott! Nem tudtam elhinni, hogy valaki tényleg gondolt erre s volt elég merész a gondolatot megvalósítani.
Talán megkérdezné az olvasó, miért vállaltam el a modellkedést. Néha magam is elgondolkodom ezen, még most is. Kihívásként tekintettem rá, kilépőként a komfortzónából. Csipetnyi őrültség volt, nevezzék, aminek akarják, melyre egyszeri alkalom adódott s eszem ágában nem volt veszni hagyni. Megtagadtam még a gondolatát is annak, hogy ne legyek részese a tapasztalatnak. Túlságosan kíváncsi voltam, tele kérdésekkel, melyek válaszukra vártak: Eléggé merész vagyok én ehhez? Kitolhatom épp ennyire határaimat? Megengedhetem magamnak ezt a mértékű őrültséget?”

The term eroticism in art has appeared somewhat late, in 1841, in French, but the exploration and the articulation of this extremely intimate space has always fascinated the human nature. In ancient cultures: India, China, Japan, the sexuality is like a prayer, belonging to the philosophies and the religions of the area. This poetic universe of love affair has fascinated and incited in many ways ALL cultures of the Earth. Some were more explicitly expressed, others enveloped in fine veils, in mystery or shyness, affection/love/eroticism is, were and will be explored as long as the human kind will roam the Earth. - With the invention of photography, the artist had the joy of exploring eroticism through a new mean, through a formula that will ignite his imagination, turning him into a ‘privileged slave’ of sexuality. Erotic Photography occurs at a time when the world / society, freed from the shackles of religion was already prepared for this new visual medium and for a new approach, even though there were moments of social and moral convulsions. The phenomenon could not be stopped. Erotic Photography took its first breath and it was born!
- What was new and surprising for the photographer as for the the spectators was the fact that in photography the human body represents the reflection of reality and cannot be retouched or hidden, here every image freezes a moment of truth and sometimes it’s better that the truth should not to be known.
- This was the moment in which the photographer was freed from the rigours of society and of other arts, embracing Erotic Photography in a new, unexplored visual expression. From then until now countless photographers have fallen ‘victim’ of this never-ending explorable territory, leaving behind impressions and expressions that continually reveal and amaze.
- After a photographic journey full of trials and experiences, after making an entrance in the artistic photographic space with the 1+1 Exhibition here is Sooska challenged by and challenging a new subject with an erotic theme.
- Rainbow Eyes Exhibition confirms that the expression of eroticism in photography has no limits. Experiment/challenge/incitement in a personal conceptual language in which the gesture of the author is highly present, the boundaries of privacy are put to the wall, it is in a nutshell the exhibition that Sooska is proposing this time.

- ‘We all know that women are the fair sex, when you say woman you think of characteristics like gentleness, sensuality, tenderness, mystery. Yes, I said mystery; we women are opening our legs faster than our soul. You have to go a longer way to discover a woman’s soul; in Rainbow Eyes exhibition, Pinto Horse has tried to do this, to combine the eye, which represents the soul, with a women’s most intimate part - the vagina - seen as a symbol for birth and rebirth, novelty, beginning. Lets therefore look at the vagina as a symbol, exactly as the meaning of the photos in the exhibition, photos that express delicately the eroticism and not sexuality, vulgarity.
- Moreover, the artist's vision goes even further, wishing him to capture the woman exactly as she is, unique. For this reason the exhibition Rainbow Eyes is involving 11 models. Pinto Horse tried and I can say that he succeeded to show the uniqueness of every woman, not through the eyes or their facial features, not body shapes, but by a body part to which access is difficult. I could even go further to say that the eye used for each model reflects a part of their personality, and that because eyes of different sizes and colors were chosen by each model. The chosen eye, says Pinto Horse ‘represents her as a woman, not just the vagina’.

. I know I saw everything as a challenge, a step outside my comfort zone. It was a touch of madness (call it as you wish), for which I was given an unique opportunity and I was not going to let it slip through my fingers. I was refusing the thought of not experiencing this. I was too curious and I had a lot of questions and waiting for the answer (can I dare so much? Can I push my limits that much? Am I able to allow me this dose of madness?) ‘
